FIFTH CLASS BY TEACHER YESMIN & TEACHER GEORGINA

Teaching class by T Yesmin & T Georgina

TOPIC: CARS WILL FLY.
T Georgina began the class asking Ss to stand up & make two groups. T Georgina presented a game, where the T said a fruit or an object & Ss should guess the word that they had in mind & run toward the board & write the answer, then T Georgina showed a little flashcard with the correct answer & if a Ss had the correct answer they got a point.
NOTE: I think that the activity was a little bit confused maybe because I couldn't explain very well the instructions.

T Yesmin presented 6 flashcards with their respective name, T Yesmin asked Ss if they knew the spelling of
each word, if Ss didn't know the spelling T Yesmin repeated twice.
NOTE: In my opinion, I think that T Yesmin got confused with the presentation because he couldn't explain the spelling of each word, instead of this he asked students to say the words without any help.

T Georgina gave Ss some worksheets, where they had to listen an audio, Ss needed to write the word that the audio said according what they listened. T Georgina repeat the audio twice. Moreover, students were helped by the teacher. At the end, Ss were asked to showed with the person that was next to he/ her what they had done.
NOTE: I think that was a bad activity maybe because the Ss got confused with the two worksheets that I gave them & also with the audio because the instructions were not clear.

T Yesmin presented his last activity which was that Ss needed to work in groups of three, each group or student had flashcards with different pictures. T Yesmin gave students 6 flashcards with an envelope, in the envelope was the 6 corresponding name of each flashcard, Ss had to match the flashcard with the corresponding spelling that was in the envelope. Then T Yesmin asked students to showed what they had done.
NOTE: I think that this activity was good because students could recognize each flashcard with the corresponding name, although it was kind of difficult because T Yesmin couldn't explain very well.

At the end T Georgina asked Ss to stand up an make a circle, T Georgina played a song while students were passing a ball, when T Georgina stopped the ball, the student who had the ball should choose a picture & say the name corresponding to the picture.
NOTE: This activity was fine because students could understand & practice the vocabulary that they had learned, enjoying the moment with the game.
