After this activity, we presented a story or fairy tale which we showed the skills that we had learned in the previous workshop, T Geovanny gave us a feedback and he helped us to improve our fears.
Another activity that T Geovanny made with us was to take sit on the floor and we needed to put our back with the our classmates back, in this activity we needed to make some question to our partner but without move our head, the purpose of this was to increase our voice and could understand the voice to the other.

WORKSHOP, PART 1

Wednesday August 19th, 2015.

WORKSHOP, PART 1.

This activity started at 9:15am in the second floor of Department of Art & Culture in the Don Bosco University, where we were introduced by Teacher Orlando Gomez to the Teacher from Department of Art & Culture who began the activity telling us that we needed to take off our shoes to start making some activities.

First, the Teacher told us that we had to walk around the room, smiling & making some faces, after that the Teacher told us that we needed to create some faces like: wink, show our tongue & blow some kisses to our classmates.

Second, the Teacher said that we should stop and we needed to take sit on the floor, he gave us a sheet of paper & we should write 4 questions for example: Who I am? (Represented by an Object, an animal or something like that), How this class could help me in my life?, What circunstances could make me fail the practice? How can help others?
This activity was intesting for me, because I realized about Who I am?
With this activity we needed to pass in front of our classmates & present a little bit about us, according with the 4 questions, all of us presented different animals & object that we thought that were related with us. To this actitivity the Teacher gave us a feedback about how we control our nervous & how our voice is listened by other.
NOTE: I really like this activity because it can help us to develop useful skills & to put into practice when we give the classes.

Moreover, the Teacher asked us to work in pairs, we had to talk about something & then we should start to separate little by little until we couldn't hear what the partner was talking about, this was to regualte our voice when we will be in the classroom.
NOTE: In my opinion I like the actitivies that teacher made, although there was somethings that I don't like, maybe because I felt uncomfortable, this because the noise of the people that were there & many other factors.

At the end, we could enjoy all the activities that we made in the class, & it were so useful for us to implement in our classes with children etc.

FIFTH CLASS BY TEACHER YESMIN & TEACHER GEORGINA

Teaching class by T Yesmin & T Georgina

TOPIC: CARS WILL FLY.
T Georgina began the class asking Ss to stand up & make two groups. T Georgina presented a game, where the T said a fruit or an object & Ss should guess the word that they had in mind & run toward the board & write the answer, then T Georgina showed a little flashcard with the correct answer & if a Ss had the correct answer they got a point.
NOTE: I think that the activity was a little bit confused maybe because I couldn't explain very well the instructions.

T Yesmin presented 6 flashcards with their respective name, T Yesmin asked Ss if they knew the spelling of
each word, if Ss didn't know the spelling T Yesmin repeated twice.
NOTE: In my opinion, I think that T Yesmin got confused with the presentation because he couldn't explain the spelling of each word, instead of this he asked students to say the words without any help.

T Georgina gave Ss some worksheets, where they had to listen an audio, Ss needed to write the word that the audio said according what they listened. T Georgina repeat the audio twice. Moreover, students were helped by the teacher. At the end, Ss were asked to showed with the person that was next to he/ her what they had done.
NOTE: I think that was a bad activity maybe because the Ss got confused with the two worksheets that I gave them & also with the audio because the instructions were not clear.

T Yesmin presented his last activity which was that Ss needed to work in groups of three, each group or student had flashcards with different pictures. T Yesmin gave students 6 flashcards with an envelope, in the envelope was the 6 corresponding name of each flashcard, Ss had to match the flashcard with the corresponding spelling that was in the envelope. Then T Yesmin asked students to showed what they had done.
NOTE: I think that this activity was good because students could recognize each flashcard with the corresponding name, although it was kind of difficult because T Yesmin couldn't explain very well.

At the end T Georgina asked Ss to stand up an make a circle, T Georgina played a song while students were passing a ball, when T Georgina stopped the ball, the student who had the ball should choose a picture & say the name corresponding to the picture.
NOTE: This activity was fine because students could understand & practice the vocabulary that they had learned, enjoying the moment with the game.
